The Book of Judges is a collection of repetitive and ever worsening stories of Israel as a young nation. It’s easy to read these stories and criticize Israel for their seemingly endless excuses, but we’re no different. As we kick off this new series, we do so while seeing just how much our lives reflect the “dumpster fire” we find in the biblical text and the ways in qhich God repeatedly restores despite our repeated faults.

Forgiveness is a foundation issue within the Christian faith. Jesus, in particular, had a lot to say on the matter. But one thing you’ll never hear Him say is to “forgive & forget.” That’s not only non-biblical, it’s more or less impossible…
