Fear Not: Fear of What People Will Think of Me

"Fear Not!" A statement made by angels of the Lord multiple times to everybody involved in the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We don't often associate fear and trembling with the Christmas story, but it was utterly terrifying for those personally involved.

In this second message of a three message series, an angel visits Joseph and instructs him to go through with his marriage to Mary. This was an enormous decision for Joseph. The social and personal consequences could have been devastating to him. What would people think? What would his friends and family think of him marrying a woman who was pregnant with a baby that wasn't his? His fears reflect our own as we consider the consequences of obedience to God's word.
