Colossians: Paul’s Mission, our Mission

Throughout the opening chapter of Colossians, Paul has spent the majority of his time arguing for the Lordship of Jesus over all creation. However, toward the end of the first chapter through the first few verses of the second (Colossians 1:23-2:5), Paul opens up about why he’s so committed to his mission and, in doing so, reveals how we can be effective in doing the same. I titled this message “Paul’s Mission, Our Mission” as I spend half the time reflecting on the heart of Paul’s missionary work and the other half on the urgency of our own. I pray you find this message encouraging and convicting.
