Colossians: Deep Roots of Freedom

What is the key to peace in life? How can we know true freedom? Where might we find a spiritual growth and maturity that stands the test of time and every trial and tribulation this world throws our way? We won’t find this in what this world has to offer. We won’t even find it through blind adherence to sacraments and religious rules. To quote Paul, all of this and more can be found by “digging deep roots in Jesus.” The more we’re connected to the source of life, the more we trust Him, the freer we become regardless of our external circumstances. This and more in the fifth installment of my reflection through the Book of Colossians.
